Difficulty getting Mileage Plus points from this shop.

Update: it took 3 months but I finally did get the points. I wish this shop were more organized :-/

Also there was some really strong conversation happening and seemingly violent viewpoints about an ongoing conflict in another Nation... did not make me feel comfortable.

I have literally never been disappointed by anything sold or recommended by Jeremy. The wine is so, so good, and the prices are totally reasonable. And the vibes — this wine shop is FUN. HK has the best little wine shop in Manhattan.

For me one of the best wine shops in the city. Though the shop is small it’s always filled with a varying selection of fantastic organic wines. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is very fair and the monthly wine club is a steal.

We were visiting NYC from out of town staying near Times Square. Super nice owner? Partner? Gave us a corkscrew, generous with tastings and advice, really down to earth, since we are from Pennsylvania and has never had a naturally fermented wine before he set us up with a really delicious Beaujolais. Also steered us towards some less expensive options for the more expensive wines we’re looking at. If we lived in the city this is the only place we would go. Since we were just visiting we are very grateful for the warm welcome 🙂

Veritas is the best wine store in Hell’s Kitchen by a long shot! Not only does this place have the best selection, but you end up leaving learning something new about wine. The staff are exceptionally friendly and take the time to interact with patrons with a genuine curiosity and gusto in discussing every single wine there. Join the monthly wine club for sure. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
