such a neighborhood gem! they have the best natural wines and v interesting spirits you can’t find anywhere else. popped in for a Wednesday night tasting and feels like coming to a friends house with records spinning and good vibes all around.

The lady recommended and sold us a $30 bottle of wine that had gone bad and tasted like vinegar. Not sure if it was on purpose but definitely don't get this bottle

We should have read the reviews before! This place easily has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered at a wine shop. Went to pick up a delivery, and the 2 workers never acknowledged us, and continued unpacking boxes at the back of the store. My friend who was picking up his prepaid order had to get them to help him with his pickup. I looked around for bottles while we were waiting, and realized these PoS don’t deserve my business, and promptly left. They probably don’t deserve yours either.

fantastic natural wine selection from all over and super knowledgeable staff - same stuff you’d find at some of the best restaurants around but at retail price, can’t go wrong.

I don’t care about the inventory. You go to any bottle shop they all got the same stock. You know what I look for? Person to person experience. These dudes are the most boring empty cats ever. If I had enough power to fake a smile to these
cheese balls the least they can do is smile back.

The short version: I would not shop here because the white associates wouldn't even let me sit on the bench outside in peace.

The long version:
Today I was hanging out with a friend in Williamsburg, and while she went to run an errand, I decided to wait and sit on a bench outside of this shop.

While I sat there, two white associates came by the doorway and both of them proceeded to talk about me while I sat on the bench.

They started saying amongst themselves, “Why is she sitting there? There is plenty of seating elsewhere” and literally gestured to some open-air seating at a bar next door. Mind you, the bench and the doorway are right next to each other, so they clearly wanted me to hear them.

While they were talking about me, they were still hovering over me. It was overall an extremely uncomfortable situation. I got up maybe a minute later, and they proceeded to sit down on the bench immediately when I left.

It was upsetting to experience that hostility, especially from a store that supposedly prides itself on ‘celebrating farmers and friends.’ If the seating was for patrons, they could have politely informed me of that and I wouldn’t have had an issue moving elsewhere.

Called to order some bottles and Kevin was super helpful and patient with my extremely particular requests. Order arrived super fast, too. I’ve shopped in store before and loved it - one of my fave wine stores in the area.

This is my favorite New York wine store. It's not pretentious and it's really well curated. The staff greets you when you come inside and they always suggest great wines. I highly recommend going to the tasting nights!
