I can't say anything recent except for people I know say how great this place is but I can tell you years ago I used them when they were in hopatcong.
I brought them my Carburetor to him and he rebuild it explained how to adjust it after I reinstalled it didn't have to it ran perfect and I'm a retired Handyman and plan on bringing him a generator that the float is stuck .

This place is the best. I brought my lawn tractor tire in to get repaired on a Saturday. I asked if I should wait or leave it. Saturday ya know. It was suggested to me; better just drop off and they would call when ready. No problem for me. No sooner than I got home They called back and said my tire was ready. So I went and picked it up . Awesome. Nice drive from my house anyway. Went to put it back on and realized I lost the retaining clip. They said they had one. So I went back. Beautiful. My day was not lost. Only thing was it was close to closing time. I made it there with time to spare. They had the part ready and waiting for me.
I've had a couple /few services done there. Each time has been a pleasant experience. 5+ stars

Great people very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately services didn’t meet expectations. Brought my ride in lawnmower in for a tune up; having issues with the choke. They replaced basic maintenance stuff that didn’t help.They didn’t take the extra step to tighten a loose deck wheel I had or set tire pressures. Maybe expected more then I asked for a full service/tune up and reminded them I had a stalling issue with the choke.

My generator malfunctioned while at a jobsite. After calling Grafe Small Engines, I felt entirely comfortable taking my generator to this company because the owner was so courteous and respectful to me over the telephone.

After dropping my generator off, I was called back within 3 hours, and was informed of the diagnosis and repair of my generator. After receiving my generator (and paying a fantastically reasonable price), I couldn't help but think how pleased I was with Grafe Small Engines' heartwarming services, experienced support, and financially conservative value; they even helped me load and unload my generator. Great guys!

brought in my zero turn and it was over the winter so took there time but was not in a rush to get it back so told them its fine. But once they started on it they found the problem quickly and called with a estimate and fixed quickly. Also checked over machine and fixed a tire for me as well. Price of everything was very good was thinking im gonna be charged crazy and was complete oppisite. very nice guys will be going back in future

I have been coming here for my small engine needs for MANY years now. Most of my requests are for parts, which he always seems to have in stock. I recently brought in a set of tires for my zero turn to have tubes installed. He turned them around in one day, despite having a sea of repairs he was working on. His prices have been very reasonable, and his advice always top notch. If You have anything from a trimmer to a tractor, this is the place to bring it for tuneups and repairs.
