We have been using E-Max ERP for almost 2 years now. Once everything was set up and we were over the teething issues of getting used to a new system, we have found it to be much better than the one we were using previously. The support guys are excellent, and can get most issues sorted out the same day. I would have no hesitation to recommend E-Max.

We were sold a system based on it being able to run our business from enquiry to delivery and through to accounts.

Days into our ‘go live’ we quickly realised this system didn’t work. We opted to stop the implementation immediately and asked for proof it could do as they originally promised. No proof was forthcoming so we requested refund and communication suddenly stopped. Do not trust this company.

I have implemented and used Emax within 2 businesses using both desktop and cloud versions. The support team are very thorough and on the whole quick to respond, they are both professional and friendly. The team are knowledgeable and if there are any major incidents they go above and beyond to sort the issue. At the current business we have gone from RM6 to Emax desktop to Emax cloud. The recent upgrade to cloud has improved the businesses processes within sales, for instance in the cloud version you can import data from csv which has sped up quoting, we are looking to further improve throughout production by looking at implementing the scheduler, and also we are implementing a CRM process to enable data extraction which is proving invaluable. It comes with many features, my personal favourite is the Excel live link functionality, you can have your data linked to excel and it will constantly be live and update through SQL, reducing the amount of data exports you need to do time and time again, enabling instant results by opening up a spreadsheet, this alone has made a massive improvement to having data at your fingertips and reduction in replication, we use this heavily in quotation and sales performance, incident and accident analysis, delivery performance and stock valuation reporting, to name a few.
To make the best of the Emax software I would always recommend having an implementation lead within the business that will invest the time to become an expert in the software, to be 'first line support' for simple user fixes/questions regarding functionality and also to get the best results from it and make sure it is being used properly, if this person is in place, it will make the implementation and running of it much more successful. I have seen businesses fail with ERP installations due to lack of understanding in what they do and how they work, it's not always the fault of the ERP.
I would recommend Emax as a good value for money ERP system.

New ERP solution not ready for market.

Obviously given our rating, our overall experience was not good and we would not recommend this system to other manufacturing businesses such as our own. Our understanding having spoken with others in a similar situation is their older simpler system worked but we already operated a system with similar functionality so made no sense for us. After taking the decision to abandon the implementation of 'ERP' we have also found the senior management to be quite elusive to further discussions and unwilling to follow up on previously made commitments by senior members who had since left (guess they saw the writing on the wall?)

One plus however, the support team in Glasgow were very responsive and attentive - just a shame they couldn't fundamentally get the system to work after 18 months!

We are yet another customer that couldn't get the system to work after ploughing in over £100k and probably the same value in internal resource. The system is in no way ready as a full ERP/MRP, do not be fooled by the sales patter or the demos as once you get live data into the system it is horrendous, slow, not customisable. I disagree with the other 1 star review - their support is shocking, they are only concerned about the next piece of income, surely this business will fail and then you will be left with an unsupported ERP - we had high hopes - we have been left with a truly dreadful experience.

E-Max is a Fantastic and Easy to use system.
We have been using it for over 10 years, for production planning in our Arrell Engineering Division, it covers purchasing, stock control and much more, to be honest, we are only scratching the surface of what it is capable of doing.
Very easy to use and understand for all skill levels, no complex IT skills needed as the E-Max customer support will tailor everything to your own business requirements.
Great product backed up with great customer support.

Since implementing E-Max in 2009, we have experienced an improvement over stock control, raising sales orders, works orders, purchase orders and invoices which we send straight to sage for payment.
We have always found the E-max team helpful and knowledgeable, and they have always "understood” the issues we faced, and offered a solution.

Excellent ERP system which is very easily customised to your specific needs. Support desk very responsive when called upon. Can't fault the quality of service from Emax. The system provides all of the information that you need to run and monitor your business. Recommend.
