Dr. Spero takes his time with his patients and has a great way of making his patients feel comfortable. He went out of his way to see my son and I late at night on a Friday which is very much appreciated. Where do I begin... Dr. Spero is the BEST psychologist I have come to find. He is professional, personal, and has a great personality. My son LOVES to go and actually looks forward to attending his appointments, as Dr. Spero knows exactly how to talk with him on his level. His office staff is kind and very helpful. Dr. Spero really takes his time to know his patients inside and out. He has incredible techniques and truly cares about each of his patients. Dr. Spero has been fantastic in helping my son continue to address many facets of stressors and challenges for all kids but especially for kids on the Autistic Spectrum. He is patient and kind and a straight shooter. He may not run on time but you can be sure he will give your child and family the extra time needed when situations or crisis arises. His methods may seem like they are not addressing the issue at times but the truth is he always has a reason for what he says and does and it may not be apparent to the parent at the time of the session but it always helps the child and that's what really matters. In this day and age it's rare to find such a compassionate and dedicated therapist.
