Fantastic store! By far the best in the area. The space is quaint and organized, the vibe is relaxed, and the clerk, Vic (or Vik) has exceptional knowledge and professionalism. I came in asking for a specific wine taste (as dry as rolling low-grit sandpaper down your tongue.) She immediately recommended three types, and I settled on the Coste di Moro Italian Red, which is priced generously. I must say, it pairs amazingly with Island Jim #2 as well as Undercrown Maduro cigars (which, by the way, can conveniently be purchased next door—woo!)
Will most definitely be coming back when I need to stock up my bar in the Catskills.

I just read two bad reviews of Sip. I honestly think they're ex-lovers looking to get revenge. 🙂 First off: I loved the previous rendition of SIP. Was dope. Very good wine. Nice people. Was super disappointed when it changed ownership. But objectively speaking - the new ownership chooses incredible wines! I'd go out on limb and challenge for 'Best in Brooklyn'. Just next level stuff. Now...customer service. The woman who buys the wine is super knowledgeable and helpful. But not intrusive. If you're looking for somebody to babysit you from door to shelf, you'll be disappointed. She respects your personal space until you signal inquiry. At that point she's super friendly and helpful, but never pushy. Any doubters? I challenge you to find a single mediocre bottle in the entire shop. I sure haven't.

Love the selection here! Literally can’t get my wine any other place. Sooo good. Reasonably priced and the buyer there is fantastic. She will educate you about her selection in the most fun and informative way.

Surprisingly good selection for a little shop. The employees are knowledgeable and definitely non-judging if you have no idea what you’re looking for. They rotate out some fun mini liquor / sake / wine bottles on their checkout counter; definitely check it out!
