$5400 for a Lemon - After spending $5400 on a Sur Ron Light Bee X at eBikes Hawaii, I was left stranded with a dead battery and abysmal customer service. While the bike was initially fantastic, the battery failed after only 600 miles. eBikes Hawaii misdiagnosed the problem, charged me $30 for a fix that did not work, then gave me the runaround for four months while trying to claim the warranty. They ultimately offered no solution except to buy a new battery with 20% less range at an exorbitant price - 2000$. Despite numerous visits and calls, they failed to provide support or follow through with promised repairs. I urge anyone considering buying an eBike to look elsewhere. eBikes Hawaii's high prices, poor warranty support, and lack of customer service make them an unreliable choice.

Best bike shop on the island. Great customer service most of the time. They have the best selection of e-bikes, friendly sales staff, and the best bike mechanics on the island.I've spent over $19,000 on the store for 2 e-bikes, accessories, services etc since April 2021, the most I've ever spent on any business that isn't groceries.

I wish they were open 7 days a week, open longer hours. Communication is great sometimes. Other times we've had misunderstandings. They deserve 4.75 stars, or 9.5 out of 10. However given that's not an option, I prefer to round up. Overall a great local business, speaking as a local small business myself

I had a top notch, outstanding experience renting a Stromer ST1 from Ebikes Hawaii. Since deciding to sell my car and and cut back on spending, I decided to rent an electric bike to test out the possibility of commuting to work by ebike. When I called to inquire, Roy was very patient in answering all of my questions and recommend I try something powerful and sturdy if I was to be commuting many miles for work. I'm glad he paired me with the Stromer! The staff was friendly and accommodating, as they proceeded to provide me with bungee cords to strap my stuff to the rear rack, water, secure bike locks and a rad helmet.
The Stromer was a tank on the road. I couldn't believe how fast I was going in the bike lane on the Kalanianaole Highway and secure the bike felt going 20 mph+. I was amazed how fast I arrived to my job in town. Ebikes are definitely an awesome way to commute and I plan to return to Ebikes Hawaii and purchase an ebike. Cheers to a much needed lifestyle change and excellent customer service by a local business. Mahalo!

This is one of the best experiences I've had in my life. Ryan was pleasant and genuinely wanted to help every single person who entered. I kinda knew what I wanted, and he didn't hesitate to make sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. Everything the shop said they would do, they did so in a timely manner, and communication was very good with quick to immediate responses from him and the rest of the team. I liked the service so much that I've continually given the Honolulu shop's location to many co-workers who seem to be interested in E-bikes. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who asks for recommendations!

Excellent local shop! I'm very happy that Ebikes Hawaii is the local Aventon dealer. I picked up a new Sinch from them and couldn't be more satisfied. There were some delays related to the industry shortages and shipping problems, but I was kept up to date and as soon as they got my bike, I was notified promptly. They also arranged for some Aventon accessories that aren't listed on their website! The guys at the shop installed my rear rack and fenders before I even arrived and I'm definitely grateful for that; I hit a few puddles on the way home that. Check out was smooth: Ryan and Roy had me up and rolling out the door lickety split. Thanks, guys!!

I purchased an e-bike from this shop over a year ago. Excellent service from everyone I have encountered at this business. They know their stuff here. From assisting me after hours for my initial purchase of an e-bike to helping me get my e-bike repaired after a car hit me (paid for my the other person's insurance). Always professional, knowledgeable and friendly service here.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff providing affordable, fast and reliable service! I brought in a bike I'd purchased somewhere else and got the repair I needed and a full tune-up for 1/10th the price I'd been charged by the other shop (for an incomplete job!) Turnaround time was 1 day, compared with weeks at the other place. Lots of shady salesmen out there, but not these guys... I won't take my bike anywhere else now!
